The 3D logo exercise excited me as I found this to be challenging yet an exciting way to produce some creativity in my design. I decided to simply do my initials as the idea. To start this off, I drew a rough sketch of what i thought the 2D version could look like on paper:

I then created this design over on AutoCAD whilst smoothening the edges and giving it a nice look.

After this I copied the drawing over to 3D CAD, extruded the edges, patched the model, subtracted the gaps and connected the J and B with a 3D archway.

After playing around with this for a long time, I realised it was not going to work and I would have to try a different method to creating my ideal logo. Below is the failed idea in its final state:

In the end, I created a tunnel of sorts to connect the two letters and made the final design in a wireframe view so it showed off the extent of my design. This can be seen in its final form below:
